How much will it cost per square foot?
We do not price homes by the square foot. Custom homes can vary widely depending on types of materials, finishes and complexity of owner’s preferences.

Can I do some of the work myself?
In general the answer is no. VanZalen Homes high quality workmanship standards and timeliness are better met with people we are familiar with.

Where do you build?
Most of the homes we build are from Grand Haven to South Haven and from Ionia to the lakeshore area.

How long will it take to build my home?
The time it takes to build a home depends on the size, complexity and detail of the house. A basic 3,000 square foot house for example takes 4 ½ to 9 months to complete.
